Primary Theoretical Orientation: I am a certified Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist (EFCT) and Emotionally Focused Individual Therapist (EFIT) as well as an EFT Supervisor. EFT is based on attachment theory. It is a present process therapy that helps couples and individuals to work through emotional escalation in the session. It helps couples understand their negative cycle of conflict. It has the ultimate goal of creating in-session bonding events that both repair attachment injuries, form and strengthen attachment bonds.
Relational-Psycho-Spiritual Peak Potential/Legacy Coaching: This work helps coaching to grow a positive view of self and an increased capacity to pursue the soul’s calling. The focus is on learning to listen to the guidance of your unconscious to come into personal and spiritual integration. And to tap into new levels of creativity and energy. This is what Carl Jung called second half of life psychological work.
My theoretical orientation and training for this work comes from post-graduate Executive Coaching Program Training at the College of Executive Coaching in Arroyo Grande California. Enneagram Certification for personal development at the Maine Enneagram Center for Transformation and Well Being. And Jungian clinical certificate training in the Jungian Theory, Interpsychic Complexes, Individuation, Dreams and Nightmares, Mythology, Active Imagination and Transference/ Countertransference at the Jungian Institute in Los Angeles.
